Hoy junto a su familia y con la ayuda de su hijo, el enólogo Martin Männle, continúan con la German tradition para trabajar en la elaboración de vinos de excelencia que, año tras año, han sabido cautivar el paladar de sus clientes y de los buenos amantes del vino.

German tradition

In 1987, the oenologist Heinrich Männle arrived in Chile from Germany with the firm conviction of continuing the viticultural activity that his father Weingut Andreas Männle successfully achieved. This German family business was born at the beginning of the 20th century and has been prestigious since its inception until today in the city of Durbach, Germany.

Once established in Chile, the German winemaker studied the country's winegrowing areas intensively, finally deciding to settle in the south-central zone of Chile, specifically in Bulnes, the wine-producing heart of the Itata Valley. This allowed Heinrich Männle to start working on the manufacture of different alcohols such as fruit distillates, liqueurs and wines, whose recipe has been developed over time thanks to experience and knowledge. Undoubtedly, maintaining the European tradition led him to patent his work, thus founding his own family business, which today is known as Viña Männle.

Viña Männle today is supplied with grapes from vines that come from 3 geographically different sectors: Coelemu, Huape and Larqui.

Today, together with his family and with the help of his son, winemaker Martin Männle, they continue with the German tradition to work in the elaboration of excellent wines, always keeping in mind a deep respect for the old vineyards and for the impeccable work of people from the area that, year after year, allows us to captivate the palates of our customers and good wine lovers.
